Seven new faces for Men’s team ahead of NFS 1 test

Derby Futsal Club are pleased to announce the arrival of seven news signings to the men’s team. Joe Smedley, Sam McGrath, Jordan Riley, Kasey Riley, Matt Silver, Ollie Judd and Alex Mora have all joined the squad and will bring a new layer of depth and experience.

These signings have experience playing futsal from all over the midlands, with Smedley joining from Kettering, McGrath from the University of Nottingham and Jordan Riley from Team United Birmingham.

Kasey Riley, Silver, Judd and Mora all joined from Nottingham Trent after graduating.

Manager Sam Huntingdon is thrilled to have the new additions join the squad, he said: “I’m absolutely delighted to add the seven new faces to the squad ahead of the return to play this summer.

“Every one of them adds a different background and experience to the group, and adds strength in depth.

“We wanted to raise the bar in terms of competition for places and ensure that our expectations of extremely high standards from our players will be met.

“Quality additions like these are only ever going to help and I am absolutely delighted to be adding a great bunch of lads to the group as we get back at it”.
